Privacy Policy

No surprises, no data games. I built 3D Prints by Vic to teach HueForge and help makers — not to harvest your information. This page lays out exactly what the platform collects, why, who it's shared with, and how to get your data deleted.

"We," "us," and "the platform" mean 3D Prints by Vic and the website and app at 3dprintsbyvic.com. By using the platform you agree to this policy. If something here doesn't sit right, email me at vic@3dprintsbyvic.com.

• Account info — your name, email address, and profile photo, provided when you sign in (through our sign-in provider) or link Patreon.
• Patreon membership data — if you link Patreon, we receive your Patreon user ID, membership tier, and pledge status so we can unlock the access you've paid for. We do not receive your card or bank details from Patreon.
• Payment information — membership is billed by Patreon; 1:1 coaching is paid through a Stripe invoice. Card processing happens entirely on Patreon and Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
• Content you create — community posts and comments, homework and practice submissions, filament submissions, and anything you add to your profile.
• Learning & usage data — your course progress, quiz results, and in-app activity, so the platform can pick up where you left off.
• MarginForge data — the cost and pricing figures you enter into the margin calculator. These power your own calculations and are visible to you (and to an admin only if you ask for support). We don't share your business numbers.
• Booking & scheduling — when you book a coaching session, the details needed to schedule it (handled via Google Calendar) and any intake notes you provide.
• Email subscription — if you join the newsletter, your email is stored with our email provider, Mailerlite.
• Technical data — basic device and browser information, log data, and locally stored values (like your sign-in token and theme preference) needed to keep you logged in and the app working.

We use your information to:

• Run the platform — sign you in, save your progress, and show your content.
• Verify your membership and unlock the right access level.
• Schedule and deliver coaching sessions.
• Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account.
• Send the newsletter (only if you opted in — unsubscribe anytime).
• Improve the course, tools, and community, and keep the platform secure.
• Meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't run third-party advertising on the platform.

We share data only with the service providers that make the platform run:

• Base44 — hosts the application and database.
• Patreon — membership billing and the membership data we read to grant access.
• Stripe — payment processing for 1:1 coaching invoices.
• Mailerlite — email newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe).
• Google — sign-in and calendar scheduling for bookings.
• Discord — only if you choose to join the community server (governed by Discord's own policy).

Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the platform and its members.

The platform uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences like light/dark theme. Our email and hosting providers may set their own cookies. We don't use cookies to track you across other websites.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see below), we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, payment and tax records) for as long as the law requires. Public community contributions may be retained in anonymized form so threads and the filament database stay intact.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To update most details, visit your Account page. To delete your account and data, follow the steps in the next section.

You can delete your account and personal data in two ways:

• In the app — go to your Account page and use Delete account in the Danger Zone.
• By email — write to vic@3dprintsbyvic.com from your account email and ask us to delete your account.

What gets deleted: your profile, account details, learning progress, MarginForge data, bookings, and the link to your Patreon. What may be retained: payment and tax records we're legally required to keep, and public community posts in anonymized form. We complete deletion within 30 days. Deleting your account here does not cancel your Patreon membership — manage that separately on Patreon.

The platform isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data, though no system is perfectly secure. The platform is operated from the United States, and your information is processed there.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Questions? Email vic@3dprintsbyvic.com.
