ABOUT VIC.
A YouTube channel, a HueForge course, a few tools I built because I needed them, and a Discord full of makers actually doing the work.
Who we are
Hey y'all — I'm Vic.
3D Prints by Vic started simple: I wanted to learn HueForge, share what I figured out, and help others get where they wanted to go faster than I did. Years in, that's still the whole job.
The brand runs on one sentence — 3D Prints by Vic helps people discover what's possible with 3D printing. HueForge is the current focus, but the work isn't boxed in. The verb is discover, the scope is 3D printing, full stop.
I'm one person. Every tutorial, every tool, every reply in the comments comes from the same desk. That's the constraint and it's also the point — you're not talking to a content team.
Our values
Five filters every video, tutorial, and drop passes through.
Discover. — Curiosity is the engine. Whether it's your first multicolor print or your hundredth, we're here to open doors, not flex.
Community. — This isn't a broadcast. The crew on Discord, the patrons, the comment section — they're co-builders. Real participation, real conversations, no gatekeeping.
Honesty. — Real numbers. Real prints. Real mistakes on the bed. When we test a filament, you see the failures. When we share a margin breakdown, you see the math. If we can't show it, we don't claim it.
Capable. — You can do this. Difficulty is new, not hard. We assume zero knowledge and infinite intelligence — define every term, never talk down, give explicit permission to go slowly and fail and try again.
Fun. — The work is serious; the vibe isn't. Light humor, real excitement, "isn't this cool?" energy underneath the precision.
What we do
- YouTube — Free tutorials, every week. No account, no email, no catch.
- HueForge Pro — The course. Seven modules on filament painting, from your first color swap to selling the work.
- Pro Tools (Early Access) — Nine browser tools — Image Prep (upscale, crop, background, flatten, posterize), Frame Studio, Puzzle Studio, SVG Convert, Text Studio, Palette Match, Compass, the Filament Library and Projects. Everything runs client-side, so your images never leave your machine.
- Margin Forge — The margin calculator for makers who want to know whether the work is actually profitable — before they price it.
- The Business Partner — An AI that knows your numbers and answers like a partner who has seen them.
- The Filament Index — A searchable database of filaments with verified Transmission Distance values, so you stop guessing TD and start printing.
- The Catalog — Every HueForge design in one phone-friendly feed — mine, plus 100+ other HueForge artists.
- The Discord — The crew, in real time. The public server is open to everyone.
- Monthly design drops — Posters, bookmarks, and ready-to-print files for patrons.
Two tiers, both on Patreon. Master Maker at $12/month is the seller stack — the commercial license, Margin Forge, the Business Partner, and The Catalog. HueForge Pro at $25/month adds the full course, the Filament Index perks, and Pro Tools.
Same platform underneath either one. Pick the tier that matches what you're actually trying to do — the pricing page compares them line by line.
Catch y'all on the inside. — Vic
